Built for one household. Now for every household like it.
Fit-Check started as a fix for a very specific, very ordinary problem — and it's still being built by the person who had it.
I'm Yash, a solo, non-technical founder based in Berlin. Fit-Check exists because my household ran into a problem that most nutrition apps quietly ignore: my partner and I cook and eat the same meals, but we're working toward opposite goals — I'm losing fat, she's gaining weight. Every calorie-tracking app we tried assumed one person, one goal, one plate. Ours is a household with two.
So Fit-Check reads a single shared meal — a photo or a description — and splits it into personalized macros and portions for each person, instead of making us do the math by hand every time we eat together.
It's an early, actively-developed product. I'm dogfooding it daily with my own household before opening it up further, and building in the open about what's working and what isn't.
